  • Estrogen begins to fluctuate wildly

  • Progesterone often drops first (leading to anxiety, insomnia, and irritability)

  • Testosterone can impact energy, muscle mass, and libido

  • Insulin resistance and cortisol dysregulation add to the weight gain, fatigue, and stress load

  • Your nervous system becomes more sensitive to imbalance, creating a ripple effect across sleep, mood, and metabolism

Why I Do This Work
 

After 25+ years in nursing, I hit perimenopause and realized how invisible midlife women still are in traditional care. My symptoms were dismissed. My questions were unanswered. I was told to “wait it out” or take an anti-anxiety medication for a symptome of perimenopause.
 

So I changed the game - becoming a menopause specialist, on top of already being board-certified nurse coach, and functional wellness practitioner I offer women what we should’ve had all along:
clarity, compassion, and evidence-based care.
